The AMA Safety Code states that Smoke Bombs are not permitted by AMA Members unless handled by AMA Air Show Teams which are current AMA Chartered Clubs. However, Smoke Cartridges are acceptable for all members to utilize as long as the devise remains attached to the model. By using the RC Smoke mounting kits you can be sure that the Smoke Cartridges are securely fastened to the model.

The RC Smoke is designed for outdoor use on R/C Model Airplanes, Cars, Boats, Snow Boards etc. The RC Smoke is available in a wide range of colors, and can be ignited before take-off by a match or lighter flame. In slow flying planes like the parkflyers, slowflyers, and gliders the RC Smoke can also be activated during flight by one of the electric start fuse kits below. The RC Smoke is available in White, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, and Yellow colors. Please specify color when ordering.

RC Smoke wicks are now available for indoor flying. These RC Smoke wicks are sold in boxes of 6 wicks. Each RC Smoke wick will provide 30 minutes of continuous smoke or 15 2-minute long flights. The smoke is non-toxic and available in white color only. Each wick is 3” long and can be cut to length. Simply attach to the plane and light the wick before take-off. The weight of each wick is less than 1/10th of an ounce.
